Support for the challenges children really face

I've worked one-to-one with children facing a wide range of needs. Every programme is tailored to your child — these are the areas I most often help with.

01

Emotional wellbeing

Helping children understand their feelings, feel calmer day to day and believe in themselves.

Anxiety & stress management

Worry can show up as tummy aches, meltdowns, avoidance or trouble switching off. Together we build calming techniques your child can actually use — in the classroom, at bedtime and in the moments that feel overwhelming.

You might notice

  • Constant worrying
  • Panic or overwhelm
  • Physical signs of stress

Confidence & self-esteem

When a child doesn't believe in themselves, it affects everything. I help children notice what they're good at, reframe unhelpful self-talk and take brave steps at their own pace.

You might notice

  • Negative self-talk
  • Avoiding new things
  • Comparing themselves

Behavioural & emotional regulation

Big feelings need somewhere to go. We explore what sits behind the behaviour and practise ways to recognise, name and manage emotions before they boil over.

You might notice

  • Frequent outbursts
  • Struggling to calm down
  • Frustration or anger
02

Neurodiversity & school life

Drawing on 25+ years in education and SEND to support children in the place they spend so much of their day.

ADHD & autism support

Drawing on years of SEND experience, I support neurodivergent children to understand how their minds work, manage overwhelm and build on their natural strengths — working with who they are, not against it.

You might notice

  • Sensory overwhelm
  • Focus & attention
  • Social situations

School-related anxiety & transitions

Starting school, changing classes or moving up to secondary can feel huge. My background in education means I understand the school environment and can help your child feel prepared and more settled.

You might notice

  • Reluctance to go to school
  • Moving up worries
  • Test nerves

Organisation & motivation

For children who struggle to get started, stay on track or see the point, we work on practical strategies and the mindset to follow through — skills that make homework and home life easier.

You might notice

  • Putting things off
  • Forgetfulness
  • Low motivation
03

Friendships & family life

A calm, neutral space for children to make sense of what's happening around them.

Bullying & friendship difficulties

Friendships matter enormously to children. Whether they've been hurt by bullying or find friendships hard to navigate, I help them rebuild confidence, set boundaries and respond with resilience.

You might notice

  • Falling out with friends
  • Feeling left out
  • Experiences of bullying

Parental separation & family transitions

Changes at home — separation, a new sibling, moving house — can unsettle even the most resilient child. I offer a calm, neutral space where your child can make sense of their feelings and feel secure again.

You might notice

  • Changes in behaviour
  • Worry about the future
  • Feeling caught in the middle
04

Sleep, eating & habits

Gentle, practical support for the everyday struggles that can affect the whole family.

Sleep difficulties

Racing thoughts, night-time worries or unsettled routines can make sleep a battle. Relaxation and hypnotherapy techniques can help children wind down and feel safe at bedtime.

You might notice

  • Trouble falling asleep
  • Night-time worries
  • Frequent waking

Eating & food-related difficulties

Worries around food, a very limited diet or anxiety at mealtimes can be stressful for everyone. I help children feel calmer and more in control around food, alongside any medical support they receive.

You might notice

  • Mealtime anxiety
  • Very limited diet
  • Fear of new foods

Vaping & unwanted habits

From vaping to nail-biting, habits can be hard to break alone. NLP and hypnotherapy can help young people understand their triggers and feel genuinely motivated to change.

You might notice

  • Vaping
  • Nail-biting
  • Other habits
